Synthetic Turf of Sarasota was a company purchased to fill a need.  Owners, Mike and Kim Feltovic wanted something different in their backyard and found that difference in Synthetic Turf International.  STS is an exclusive distributor for Synthetic Turf International, the industry leader in synthetic turf technology.  Owners Mike and Kim Feltovic  first walked barefoot on synthetic turf over three years ago.  After strolling on synthetic Zoysia, St. Augustine and Kentucky Blue, the Feltovic’s wanted to learn more.  “We knew Synthetic Turf International was the exclusive putting green supplier to McLean and Leadbetter, but when we learned about the benefits of synthetic turf as a landscaping solution, we were sold.”  As a Sarasota native, co-owner Kim LaCivita-Feltovic has something new and exciting to offer her hometown.  “I drive around and imagine all of the places that could benefit from our turf, making Sarasota even more beautiful with a twist of sustainability.  Our company can offer viable solutions to some of the environmental issues facing our city.”  She notes that parks in Maryland, locations in Las Vegas and pet resorts across the nation have found innovative ways to use her product.  “Property owners won’t see any more brown spot in their lawns or dirty and moldy mulch on local playgrounds,” she notes.  “The synthetic turf in our backyard is providing a beautiful and safe outdoor space for our children and our animals to enjoy.”
